YCT Yea. HB 17 prohibited cities or other regulatory entities from banning or discriminating against the connection of a utility service based on the type of energy it delivers (e.g., natural gas hookups). YCT supports legislation that prevents municipalities and counties from enacting overbearing regulations and opposes regulations that unnecessarily burden business and/or reduce incentives for expansion.
