YCT Yea. HB 1280, also known as the “Abortion Trigger Ban,” fully outlaws abortion if and when Roe v. Wade is overturned. At that point, any individual who performs or attempts to perform an abortion is subject to strict criminal penalties and civil liability. YCT supports protecting the lives of preborn children through legislation that eliminates abortion.
