Senate Journal Page: 1974
HB 3993 requires institutions of higher education who give automatic admission to students in the top 10 percent of their class to allow homeschool students to qualify to automatic admission. They will do this by assigning the student an equivalent class rank based on the student's standardized test score. YCT supports parental choice in education and opposes measures that discourage or penalize homeschooling.
