HB 1181 requires pornography websites to verify the age of a person attempting to access the website and ensure that minors may not access the website. The Senate added a requirement for pornography websites to display on their landing page a notice describing the many harms of pornography, including its potential to be addictive, its harm to brain development, and its increase of the demand for prostitution and child exploitation.YCT favors legislation that restricts someone from accessing pornography, especially those under the age of 18.
