SB 29

SB 29 prohibits local governments from issuing mask or vaccine mandates related to COVID-19 and from shutting down businesses and schools due to COVID-19. While legislation like this should have passed during the 2021 session, passing it in 2023 is at least better than nothing. YCT opposes government healthcare mandates which force violations of people's sincerely held principles or beliefs, and favors legislation that prevents localities from enacting overbearing regulations that encroach on personal liberties.
