SB 1933 expands the Secretary of State’s ability to oversee local elections and intervene if major issues are uncovered and not solved. It also allows the Secretary of State to audit more small counties if they complete their required two audits before the end of the two-year period. YCT favors strengthening election integrity including by expanding audits and by better enforcing existing election laws.
