YCT Nay. Tuition Revenue Bonds are said to be used for capital projects and construction at many of the public universities in the state. YCT has long been against what was misleadingly dubbed as ‘Tuition Deregulation’ where almost overnight tuition costs exponentially increased. Public universities are very misleading to incoming college applicants where they justify tuition costs based on the projects incurred at the university while also taking additional money from TRBs which are paid by state taxpayers. A vote in favor of TRBs is a vote in favor of increasing the state’s debt liability at a cost of approximately half a billion dollars.
